Aerial Stereo has materialized from the Los Angeles haze with binary drums (Tara Touzie/Andy Warren) and dual guitars (Robert Cifuentes/Madison René Knapp). Declaring ardent, driving rhythms and recklessly refined melodies, Aerial Stereo is transposing the fundamentals of rock music to suit their own sound. The intertwined identities of this group encourage an original fluidity in the music and performance, spurring individual members to switch roles: from drummer to singer, from guitarist to bassist– whatever is necessary to fully express each song. Sonic elements of Arcade Fire, White Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Velvet Underground are woven into a unique musical experience, at once cerebral and visceral. Lyrics explode, moods shift; the Aerial Stereo storm is eager to rain down on you.
